Awesome blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on
everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform
like WordPress or go for a paid option? There
are so many options out there that I’m completely confused .. Any ideas? Appreciate it!

I have been using Wicked Spring in my classroom for the last five years. It is the end of the year special surprise for my students. I teach 8th grade U.S. History and my students absolutely LOVE IT. It is the highlight of their year. They love learning about how the Civil War must have felt for individual soldiers. Every year my students comment on how much it helped them understand the complexity that is the CIvil War and that time period. Even for 13-14 year-olds, they are able to connect with the characters. We spend four days breaking down all the little details of the film and have a huge discussion afterwards. They love reading your blog and insights into the film. I great compliment to you DJ and the rest of the cast for what we think is the BEST Civil War movie ever made!!! On behalf of my students, both current and past, thankyou for your incredible acting talent and the film that sheds a new perspective on our history.
Regards,
Wade Harrington

DJ- Lost Heart is a wonderful production, it’s straight from the Heart- in All ways. I have new appreciation of the work and dedication presented by the actors, production, sound, and everyone involved behind the scenes, my list is endless. I am Blessed to have made a small contribution, of self, in Lost Heart. I am forever Grateful, even if I end up on the cutting room floor, to been part of this incredible experience. Plus, I’ve made new friends- bonus!
My thoughts go to- we may never know the reason “why” things happen in life, but, it’s the “what’s” we can learn from our experiences. I continue to learn. Thank you for your patience!
I look forward to catching up with All the films!
Many Blessings to you, DJ. Joan 😎

Hello! My niece who resides in Michigan referred you to me. I am an actor but never written. I am a Christian and have of course, what I think is a great outline for a wonderful movie but need a screenwriter. If you are interested in hearing about it or have another resource I will appreciate hearing your thoughts. Many thanks,

Just watched MBF. Excellent movie. Our world is changing so fast respect and true love of the heart is getting lost in the chaos we call life. May Gods grace and mercy reveal what our hearts deeply long for. The love of our Father God! Then and only then can we conquer what tries to defeat us! The thief comes to steal kill and destroy! I’ve come that you might have life! Praise Jesus!

I watched D J Perry in 40 Days about Jesus in the wilderness. It is the best script and movie I have seen about the Bible stories. He is also the most believable Jesus actor.
