Welcome Fall! Let’s Get Ready to Film!

This season is before us- Happy Fall!

Hazelnut coffee sips on a nice chilly morning. Fall is about to take over from Summer and that means a beautiful shift in Michigan. The leaves are all dark green and everything is pushing into the final stages of growth. We had a few days of major storms that left everything growing like crazy. The berry harvest was light due to some major trimming. A few hops cones will be harvested in a few weeks. I’ve been harvested mint, sage and other herbs for teas. I will bottle the CHUCK NORRIS BERRY KAPOW after our next film shoot which we’ll discuss here soon.

I’ve been dealing with a sick family member while prepping for this next film. Thankfully they have it identified and we meet Tuesday to plan the treatment schedule. What is encouraging is that it seems treatable and we’re all so happy about that. It was a true trial trying to get all the tests that led to answers. I’ve been in more medical facilities in that few weeks more than the last several years. So I’m hoping we have a good planning meeting on Tuesday and off that I’m off to film for the three week project. The bounce between the film prep and the medical running might have been good for keeping my mind in motion. I know many people deal with these same balancing acts.

FILM UPDATES:

WILD FAITH CHRISTMAS – 11/3/26 and this beautiful follow up film will release on DVD and streaming to rent or buy. As noted last week it took home three awards at the RED LETTER AWARDS. I hope the tens of millions who have watched the first WILD FAITH come to watch the sequel. Watch or rewatch the original and be prepared for the sequel watch. Next up in October I’ll be traveling with a group to the WILL ROGERS AWARDS where we will find out what we won Bronze, Silver or Gold. Just honored to be recognized for such an award.

ROM COMS MUST DIE – 10/2/26 is the DVD (Pre buy now) and streaming release dates! This unique dark comedy should be a real thrill to audiences of the horror-comedy genre. So pre-order the DVD and add to your CDI collection.

AI JESUS: The Secret of the Kingdom Chip – On 10/30/26 we have another DVD and streaming release. This comedy-drama has some deep questions at play with the topic of AI everywhere. This film is partially based on true events with a SciFi twist. This film will surely provoke conversation and questions. I hope everyone takes a watch and it stimulates conversations.

ALL three films are about to start dripping PR out! Seek out the FB pages for all the films. If you take a watch and like what you see go to IMDB.com and leave a review. Same with any of the other review pages from LETTERBOX to ROTTEN TOMATOES. I know the occasional shade will be thrown but also all the love from the various audiences.

DEVIL’S PASS – In two days our advance prep team consisting of mainly our director’s, AD’s, art, wardrobe and office will start the final prep before our Sept 15-25th shoot dates. It has been a fun interaction between Dan Searles owner of the GA company and McGraw Multimedia in planning this next adventure. I believe our casting save one featured extra and other various extras is complete. If you want to be considered for background Co-Producer Anthony Hornus is still handling that. You always have a last minute switch in cast or crew that is just the way. We had one cast change and crew wise I think we are looking locked.

I think I noted with Monday being our day off I might switch my next couple updates to Monday versus Sunday. So if you stop by on a Sunday and don’t see an update try the next date. After the shoot I will go back to our Sunday chats here. I will try to post some video and set pics along the way.

DEVELOPMENT- I will return to some script writing looking to finish the WILD FAITH 3 script and the MBF2 script by years end. I’m also starting to reach out to select backers about the follow up to our WW2 drama SILENT NIGHT IN ALGONA entitled RETURN TO ALGONA. We have several backers and organizations involved and we are looking to put it into motion for next year in Iowa. There are always projects in development and I have a script waiting for production consideration but I want to get this new film “in the can” first. WRAP UP – In a few hours wardrobe and prod coordinator will arrive to pick up some totes traveling to set next week. I might get cleaned up here and do a full wardrobe rehearsal. I hope everyone has a safe holiday weekend and a great start to Fall. I’m sincerely blessed to be working on projects near and dear to my heart. I’m ready to get together with several artists and tell this story. After I look forward to marketing the three films coming out. I will return to some development work and enjoy the last quarter of our year. I hope you all have been finding that balance in your life between family, friends and your passions.
